Recently we tested a fuel pump skid, intended for dredging vessel “Oranje”, which we built for Royal Boskalis.
The pump skid is a modification of the heavy fuel oil booster module built by “Eefting Engineering” back in 2003.
The purpose of the modification is to ensure and improve a proper fuel oil flow over the main propulsion engines.
This is of great importance due to the quality of the modern fuel oils, and this will also extend the maintenance interval of the high pressure fuel oil pumps of the main engines.

During the approval test all went to customer satisfaction.
