Calibrating flow meters is an integral part of Eefting Energy’s day to day business.
We are all about measuring, so when we do it, we do it right.
When working with our Fuel Efficiency Measuring System aboard your ship, it is of the utmost importance to work with perfectly calibrated flow meters in order to achieve the highest possible reduction of your fuel consumption.
Flow meters need calibrating about once every year.
It is a product that’s subject to wear and tear during its lifespan, and this shouldn’t be neglected.
Any and all volume flowmeters that arrive at our facility will be taken apart and thoroughly checked to make sure all parts are in proper working condition.
The flow meters are cleaned and photographed for our clients to see the state the flowmeter is in, including all parts that need replacing.
When the flow meter is assembled again with all faulty parts replaced, we then will compare its readings to our reference flowmeters and make adjustments accordingly.
We use various flow volumes to calibrate the flow meter to as to ensure its highest accuracy possible.
A full calibration report is issued after completion of the calibration process.
